This information helps us assess whether we can assist and provide an accurate initial response. However, please do not feel obligated to have all details prepared—we are equally happy to discuss projects at an exploratory stage.

Consultations

We offer initial consultations by video call or in person at our Cheltenham office. These sessions allow us to understand your requirements in depth and provide tailored recommendations before committing to a formal project.

Initial consultations of up to 30 minutes are offered without charge. Extended consultations or those requiring preparation are charged at our standard hourly rate.

Location

Our office is located in the centre of Cheltenham, within walking distance of the railway station and with good access to the M5 motorway. Cheltenham's position in the Cotswolds makes it an ideal base for historical research across the West of England and beyond.

We regularly undertake research throughout the United Kingdom and have established relationships with archives from Cornwall to the Scottish Borders. Distance is rarely a barrier to effective historical investigation.
